Blu Spa and Salon Policies |
Reservations Please schedule your return appointment prior to leaving in order to ensure proper service, booking, time, and technician. To ensure prompt service, appointments are always desirable but walk-ins are gladly accepted. We require appointments to be reserved with a credit card or gift card. A 50% deposit is reserved for all corrective, group, or specialty appointments. Spa Treatment Attire If desired, undergarments or a swimsuit may be worn during treatments, however, our therapists are trained to discreetly drape and provide you with complete privacy at all times. Please let us know if we may make you more comfortable. Lockers and robes are provided for all of our spa guests. We request that you do not leave jewelry or any other valuables in your robe pocket. We recommend that you leave your valuables at home as we are not responsible for lost belongings. Guest Cancellation and Confirmations We understand that emergencies may happen. However, we do request the courtesy of a 24-hour cancellation notice for all spa and salon services. Cancellations of less than 24-hours or no-shows will be charged at 100%. If we need to reschedule or cancel an appointment due to technician illness or scheduling conflict, we strive to give as much notice as possible. We may schedule an alternate technician to perform your service in order to keep your day and time, or if we cannot reach you. We usually confirm appointments 48-72 hours ahead. When scheduling your appointment, we will request a telephone number so that we may provide you with a confirmation call. Guarantee Your satisfaction is our utmost concern. Please notify us within seven (7) days regarding any corrections to the service you received (without additional charge during this time in most cases). Product returns or exchanges are accepted within 30 days of purchase. Refunds will be given as store credit only. Arrival Time In order for you not to sacrifice any time of your spa experience, we suggest that you arrive for your appointment at least 15 minutes early. Unfortunately, clients arriving after their scheduled appointment time will not receive an extension of services and will be responsible for full service fees. All treatments must end at the scheduled time, as to prevent the delay of the next clients services. Concerns During Pregnancy Please avoid any spa treatments using deep pressure and heat, during your first trimester of pregnancy. Blu Spa and Salon recommends pregnancy massage, pedicure, manicure and any of our facials for clients in the 2nd and 3rd trimester of their pregnancy. If you are considered a high risk pregnancy (e.g., multiple births, gestational diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.), we require a note from your health care provider before receiving any spa services. Mobile Phones and Pagers Out of consideration for our guests, please silence pagers. Mobile phone use is not permitted in the spa. Every effort is made to ensure that the spa environment is one of tranquility and relaxation. Please respect other clients’ desire for privacy. Payment We accept Cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Debit Cards, and Personal Checks. There will be a $25.00 fee for all returned checks. Contraindications Please make us aware before your service begins of any allergies, medical conditions, or medications you may be taking. |
Gift Cards/Gift Certificates Give the gift of relaxation and pampering to that special person in your life! Our Gift Cards are available in any denomination and are redeemable on any of our products and services. Gift Cards are non-refundable, must be presented at time of appointment, and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Gift cards may not be redeemed for cash value and may be purchased in person, over the phone, or here on our web site. Corporate and Group Booking Consider the Blu Spa and Salon experience as a special customer or employee reward or as part of a company retreat. Call (716) 675-2BLU for information or assistance with the coordination of your special event. Spa Membership Program You love coming to the spa and wish you could do it more often... you want to treat a family member or friend to a few months of TLC... you are working on a particular skin care, nail care, or muscle pain issue and need to return frequently to fully treat the problem. We want to reward you for coming to nurture, relax, and revitalize with us! You can sign up for our Membership Program for 3, 6, or 12 months. Pricing can be found here, or by clicking on the Membership tab. Blu Points Reward System Guest will earn points by purchasing services, products, gift cards, pre-booking their next appointment, and referrals. Blu Points can be used towards future services, products, and gift card purchases. Special Amenities Private manicure/pedicure room is available for guests wanting additional privacy at no additional charge. Party Room: You can set up refreshments and any food you may want to bring in. The party room can be used for your next bridal, bachelorette, or corporate get together! Men’s and Women’s Locker rooms: Lockers are provided for all your personal items. Showers are also provided for your use. Spa Relaxation Area: Relax on one our plush lounges before and after your spa service for ultimate relaxation! |
